I just flipped out like a silly girl when I heard Phantom Planet's Do The Panic for the FOX Fall Season commercial. It's silly I know but it just made me so giddy. Especially seeing Bones and hearing Phantom Planet. Awe to have two favorites gel together. Oh Happy Day. heehee.

My aunt called to let me know she talked to HR. And I pretty much have the job, they're just waiting on my background check. So it's not official, but by Thursday I should have the word. So YAY!!

I am bummed there will be no Maroon 5 for me this summer. The bastards aren't coming to Orlando. Don't they know I don't have a reliable car? I can't make a trip to Tampa! *sniff*.  If I had a reliable car things would be so much more different.. I'd be making trips to Atlanta, and probably Nashville a lot.. I <3 them for doing knowitall acoustic and actually sharing it with us. LOVE.

I pre-ordered my copy of Phantom Planet's 'Raise The Dead' album. Can't wait to get my hands on it.. It came with a download of 'Do The Panic', I must say I didn't find the studio version as fun. I've listened to the live version from 'The Guest' all these years and absolutely loved it. So that leaves me confused... I plan on buying the vinyl later ( Read more... )

I uploaded a bunch of Phantom Planet videos on youtube tonight. And one of them was an appearance I totally forgot about.. Jason Schwartzman and Alex Greenwald hosted MTV2's handpicked vol 2. The boys were so freakin funny, big dorks. Gotta love them.. This is from 2002.
